Life is a training ground preparing us for the battle ahead. There’s no battle ahead actually πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

#1: People’s Words
Shouldn’t get to you. In life, you don’t need someone else’s approval to do what you want. You don’t need to do something just because someone tells you to. it’s your choice to make and your actions to take. You should have the ability to discern between what’s wrong and what’s right as well as what’s good for you and what’s bad for you. Beating yourself up over someone’s words would take you no further than you’ve gotten and pondering over useless advice would lead you nowhere. listen to every reasonable thing you’re told but digest only the important ones and you’d be on your path to acheiving your goal.

#2:Know your self worth
Because if you don’t, you won’t be valued. Self worth starts from you. You don’t need anyone to tell you you’re special. My mom once told me,if a boy tells you you’re beautiful tell him : I know,I looked into the mirror today. When you place yourself high and know your value then no one would be able to ride you over, you wouldn’t be treated like a piece of trash. Self worth is very important and it’s something you can build by staying positive, appreciating yourself andΒ  knowing you’re the best you can be.

#3:Set your principles
Because if you don’t, someone else would set theirs for you. Have a rule or rules you live by,a stance you would take always. Something no one can change. Develop positive values and know what you want for yourself, know the morals you live by and stick to them.

#4: Be yourself
And stay true to yourself. Don’t change yourself because of anyone. If you haveΒ  bad characters then it’s ok to work on them. Be the best you can be, be natural. Don’t become who you’re not by putting on a facade because it doesn’t help at all. Let people see the real you πŸ‘Œ, don’t show them someone that doesn’t exist because then you’re locking up your real self and indirectly your talents too. Don’t be fake, don’t do the things you know people will love, do the things you love and real friends will love them with you.

#5: Don’t try to impress anybody
That’s where the problem starts. Trying to fit in, trying to make people see you as perfect when no one really is. Trying to get on someone’s good side and making decisions based on what you think would impress them or make them like you. That’s a very wrong thing to do, you don’t have to impress anyone. Just do you and if they don’t like it,they have bad taste. Whoever likes you has to like you based on your true self and your real personality not who you want them to think you are.

#6. Trust
Trust yourself and yourself only. Trust can be good and it can be bad too so just expect the worst from people. Never be in a situation where you’d say: I trusted this person, I’m disappointed. Trust the people you classify as friends but also keep in mind that humans change and anything could happen anytime. Prepare yourself for the worst things that could happen in a friendship and you won’t be baffled by people’s actions.

#7. Love yourself
That’s the most important thing in life, loving yourself. Believe in yourself and know you’re the best version of you. When you love yourself, people’s words wouldn’t get to you, you won’t have low self-esteem because knowing your self worth comes with loving yourself. When you love yourself, you wouldn’t compromise your principles for anyone . You will be yourself and you will never try to impress anybody. Love your talents and skills, love your perfections and also your flaws and you’d be just fine .
